IShowSpeed ‘Impresses’ Olympian Eager to Help Him Break Backflip Record

Speed is commited to making another attempt at breaking the record

Streaming sensation IShowSpeed recently garnered praise from Olympic bronze medalist Frederick Richard for his ambitious attempt to break the world record for backflips in a single day. Richard expressed his willingness to assist Speed in future attempts, highlighting the impressive nature of Speed’s efforts.

IShowSpeed, known for his unpredictable streams, initially gained popularity playing FIFA and Valorant while interacting with viewers on Omegle. Over the past year, he has expanded his content significantly, shifting toward chaotic IRL broadcasts during the summer months and then easing into different formats in recent weeks.

In early October, Speed set his sights on breaking the world record of over 1,000 backflips within 24 hours. Despite falling short with around 660 backflips, he reported feeling "paralyzed" after the attempt, underscoring the physical challenge he undertook.

Frederick Richard took to TikTok to share his admiration for Speed's attempt, offering to help him refine his technique for the next try. He noted, “There’s some technical stuff that you could optimize,” indicating that with some training, Speed could improve his performance.

With Speed committed to another attempt at breaking the record, which is currently held by Austria's Nico Scheicher, Richard's guidance could be pivotal. Fans will be eagerly watching to see how this collaboration unfolds in the coming weeks.
