Jake and Logan Paul Tease Boxing Match

Jake and Logan Paul have sparked speculation with a teaser post hinting at a brother vs. brother boxing match. On January 28, 2025, both brothers shared a fight poster with the caption, "The moment you’ve waited a decade for... March 27 on Max," suggesting the match will stream on HBO Max. Max’s official Twitter also retweeted the posts, building more excitement around the potential fight.

The idea of a Paul vs. Paul showdown has been circulating for years, and fans are now hopeful it’s finally happening. Talks of the match even reached Netflix during Jake’s fight with Mike Tyson, but the idea didn’t materialise. Jake had teased something big for his boxing career in December 2024, leaving fans convinced this match could be what he was referring to.

Kai Cenat Reveals Drake Blocked Him

Kai Cenat revealed that Drake blocked him after he called Drake's song The Heart Part 6 "weak" during the 2024 Kendrick Lamar feud. Cenat, who had previously worked with Drake on his unreleased track Super Soaker, found himself caught in the drama between the two artists. His comment came while reviewing music on a livestream, sparking backlash from Drake.

Despite his ties with Drake, Cenat sided with Kendrick in the beef, calling it a “good fight” that helped boost his Twitch streams. The drama brought major attention to his channel, with viewership soaring to over 100,000 at its peak. Cenat has since continued to break Twitch records.

DJ Akademiks Banned from Twitch After Scandal

DJ Akademiks has been banned from Twitch reportedly following a scandal involving a 15-year-old streamer. On January 28, 2025, Akademiks' Twitch channel was taken down for violating community guidelines, with some viewers noticing that the ban might be indefinite. This comes just a day after Akademiks was called out by FaZe's PlaqueBoyMax for asking inappropriate questions about a situation involving the teen.

In response, Akademiks went live to apologise to the young streamer but also criticised Max’s community as "toxic." Despite his apology, many fans of PlaqueBoyMax rejected it, and Akademiks has yet to publicly comment on the ban. His Twitch channel had over 500K followers at the time, where he was known for discussing rap news and music beefs.

Kick Introduces Real-Time Stream Rewind Feature

Kick has launched a new feature that Twitch still lacks—the ability to rewind a live stream in real time. This new feature, unveiled on January 27, 2025, allows viewers to rewind during a live stream, even if there's a lag or interruption, without needing to load a VOD. While this is already live on desktop, mobile users can expect it soon.

The feature has received positive feedback from streamers like xQc and Trainwreck, with fans praising it as a step ahead of Twitch. Streamers have suggested further improvements, such as adding thumbnails while rewinding, allowing viewers to pinpoint exactly what they missed. This feature highlights Kick's ongoing efforts to distinguish itself from Twitch, with streamers eager to see more innovative updates.
