Twitch streamer Kai Cenat recently shared an unusual chapter from his life during an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. Cenat, who moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2022, revealed that his neighbors once accused him and the content group AMP of drug dealing. The claims reportedly stemmed from the group’s luxury lifestyle, including flashy supercars and loud activities.
Cenat recalled finding a note on his door that read, “We know that there’s drugs and cocaine coming to this house,” indicating the neighbor’s suspicions. The situation escalated when the police were contacted, resulting in a visit to investigate the claims. Cenat believes the neighbor’s frustration also stemmed from frequent noise during filming sessions and loud cars coming and going from the property.
Kai Cenat says when he and AMP moved into a white neighborhood in Atlanta, their neighbors reported them to the cops for smuggling drugs because of their flashy cars 💀

In an effort to mend relations, Cenat offered a gift basket to the neighbor, but it didn’t help. The neighbor reportedly predicted, “You’ll be broke in five years,” cementing their dislike of Cenat and AMP. Despite the challenges, Cenat and his team continued their activities, undeterred by the animosity.
The podcast also touched on a debate sparked by fellow streamer IShowSpeed about whether streaming is harder than traditional 9-5 jobs. Cenat firmly dismissed the idea, calling anyone who believes so an “idiot.” His remarks come after his record-breaking Mafiathon in November, where he streamed continuously for 30 days, drawing over 623,000 viewers.
