Nintendo Direct Unveils New Switch Games

Nintendo’s March 2025 Direct event unveiled several exciting new releases, including Dragon Quest 1 + 2 HD-2D Remakes, which bring the classic RPGs to life with stunning visuals. Spike Chunsoft also revealed AI: The Somnium Files’ third entry, No Sleep for Kaname Date, where players dive into dreams to investigate a missing J-Pop idol.

Atlus followed with a remaster of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, blending RPG and detective elements. The biggest surprise came with the announcement of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, a new entry in the beloved series after more than a decade. Set for release in 2026, it promises to bring the quirky life simulation to new heights.

Josh Giddey Hits Buzzer-Beater to Lead Bulls Past Lakers

Josh Giddey’s buzzer-beating half-court heave sealed one of the craziest finishes of the NBA season, giving the Chicago Bulls a thrilling 119-117 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. With seconds left, the Bulls nailed three crucial threes, capped by Giddey’s game-winner, leaving teammates rushing to mob him. This win marked their ninth in 11 games.

For the Lakers, it was a brutal collapse. After holding a 13-point lead in the fourth, they were undone by a barrage of threes, including a clutch shot by Patrick Williams and a late steal by Giddey. Despite strong efforts from Austin Reaves and LeBron James, who gave the Lakers a brief 117-116 lead, they couldn’t hold on. Coach JJ Redick called it "devastation" as the Lakers suffered their eighth loss in 12 games.

Dua Lipa Wins Copyright Case Over Levitating

Dua Lipa has won a lawsuit accusing her of copying her hit Levitating. Songwriters L. Russell Brown and Sandy Linzer claimed she plagiarized their songs Wiggle and Giggle All Night and Don Diablo, but a judge ruled the similarities were too generic to be copyrighted. This is her second win in a plagiarism case over Levitating.

Lipa also previously defeated a case from Artikal Sound System, who claimed she stole their 2015 song Live Your Life. However, she’s still facing a lawsuit from Bosko Kante, a featured artist on Levitating, who’s suing for $2 million over unapproved use of his vocals in remixes.

Robinhood Says It Will Deliver Cash to Your Door

Robinhood is moving closer to becoming a full financial service with its new online banking platform, launching this fall for Robinhood Gold subscribers. Robinhood Banking will offer checking and savings accounts, money transfers, and even on-demand cash delivery, though details are limited and location-dependent.

The platform promises a 4% annual percentage yield (APY) and FDIC insurance up to $2.5 million through pass-through insurance with Coastal Community Bank. It will offer individual, joint, and children’s accounts, aiming to solve issues with traditional banks.
