Streamer Valkyrae Cut From A Minecraft Movie

Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter confirmed her scene was cut from A Minecraft Movie—six months after she spoke out about Jason Momoa's alleged poor on-set behavior. On a recent Twitch stream, she said she’d rather lose the 30-second scene than face legal issues, adding, “It was a wonderful 10 days in New Zealand.”
Valkyrae clarified that the cut wasn’t Minecraft’s fault and explained that her screen time would have been similar to other creators’ at around 30 seconds. Back in September, she accused Momoa of mistreating the crew, claiming he was "angry" and "yelling" after a tough scene, which left her disappointed.

Switch 2 Game Cartridges Still Taste Horrible

Nintendo has confirmed that Switch 2 game cartridges taste as bad as the originals, thanks to the same safety coating. The cartridges are coated with denatonium benzoate, a bitter substance designed to prevent accidental ingestion. While it may seem strange, this is a precaution, especially for young kids who might be tempted to put things in their mouths.
The coating isn’t harmful, just unpleasant. Nintendo’s Takuhiro Dohta explained to GameStop that it’s meant to discourage swallowing a game cartridge, ensuring kids won’t unknowingly put one in their mouth. It’s a simple but effective safety measure.

Katy Perry and Gayle King Are Going to Space

Katy Perry and Gayle King are among the latest to join Blue Origin’s growing list of space tourists. Since selling its first $28 million ticket, Jeff Bezos' company has been offering regular trips for the wealthy and famous, taking them to the edge of space.
The flight will carry passengers past the Kármán Line, where they’ll experience weightlessness and take in stunning views of Earth from large windows. This marks Blue Origin’s 11th human spaceflight, with the crew set to launch as early as Monday.

Instagram Reportedly Tests 'Locked' Reels

Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to make their Reels private using secret codes. Inspired by TikTok’s features, this option lets you control who can view your videos by locking them with a code, and you can even provide a hint to help others unlock it.
The feature was spotted by TechCrunch when Instagram’s Design account used it on a recent video. Users are prompted to enter a secret code, and with the hint provided, they can unlock and view the video. The video in question appears to be an announcement about launching a profile on Meta’s Threads.
