British YouTuber Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barriento, has been charged with reckless driving in Australia while out on bail for serious assault allegations. The 29-year-old, known for his comedic content and nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers, was allegedly caught driving at 159kph (almost 100mph) on November 17.
The incident occurred on a Western Australian road with a speed limit of 100kph. Following the incident, the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
The new charge adds to an ongoing legal case stemming from his October tour of Australia. After a performance at a Perth nightclub on September 27, he was accused of multiple serious offenses, including four counts of sexual engagement without consent, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of choking. A woman in her 20s reported the YouTuber to police, leading to his arrest.
Currently out on bail in Perth, Yung Filly is required to report to police daily. His terms prohibit him from discussing the case on social media, and he has yet to comment publicly on the charges.
Yung Filly is scheduled to appear in court on December 19, where he will face both the reckless driving and assault-related charges.
